St. Thomas 2008 Santa Claus Parade

Hannah got a 'bird's eye' view!
Nothing says 'Merry Christmas' like a float with Sponge Bob Square Pants on it!
We left Caitlyn's 'magic ears' in (thinking that she would hear the music better). She complained the entire time that everything was very LOUD. It didn't help when the parade started with fire trucks and ambulances with there sirens going off. Also, everytime a transport trailer float drove by they pulled the loud horns. Auntie got the pleasure of hold Caitlyn's ears for an hour.
Hannah got a little bit cold.
I would have taken a picture of Santa Claus going by, but by that time Caitlyn actualy wanted 'up' so we bundled Hannah up in blankets back in the wagon so that I could pick up Caitlyn on my shoulders.
By the way, Caitlyn is still extremely scared of Santa! We walked by his 'house' at the mall a couple weeks ago, Santa wasn't even there and she stared crying. Gramma & Grampa are taking us to have 'Breakfast with Santa' next weekend so we'll cross our fingers that it goes smoothly!

Love all these blog entries! I feel as though we have caught up on the happenings. I also love Hannah's curls. Not to worry if you don't like Santa, Caitlyn - he is a little bit wierd! (at least when he is in Winnipeg he is) I hope you enjoy your "breakfast with Santa" experience. Sometimes you just need a bit longer to get used to him! See you in 16 days!! Love to you all.
