Well, here we are- four more sleeps to go before we head off to Winnipeg for Auntie Lee and Uncle Jason's wedding. Caitlyn & Hannah love sitting together in their chairs watching TV, but here they are enjoying some new books.
Caitlyn was a big help with decorating the house for Christmas this year. We let her take things out BY HERSELF and put them where SHE wanted them to be.
Since Amanda and I are in the fire protection industry, we prefer the artificial variety of Christmas tree rather than the real kind. 
Hannah enjoyed helping decorate as well, but I think she had more fun with the tinsel than anything else.

We were getting ready to leave to get our Christmas picture taken when Caitlyn decided she really didn't like black stockings. I think that we actually bribed her with a snack to get her out of the house.
Hannah (on the other hand) was happy as a clam and started practicing for the photographer early!
Hannah seems to ignore the tree, other than to find the one ornament with Grandma and Grandpa Wedlake's picture on it!

Caitlyn's very first Christmas of actually going up to Santa to say 'Hi'; nevertheless sitting on his knee! When Santa asked Caitlyn what she wanted for Christmas, Caitlyn said 'Dora!'
I think Mrs. Claus made Santa less scary this year, or it might have been the presents she was holding.
Well, with only four more sleeps to go, we decided to start packing. The girls, wanting to save some money decided that they wouldn'd take up a seat on the plane and go as luggage instead. Of course this thought lasted about 10 seconds, until Caitlyn wanted a snack and Hannah wanted her bottle!!

Great pictures! Girls, I can hardly wait to see you both! Hannah, I can't believe that you have enough hair for barrettes! Caitlyn, I am so proud of you for sitting on Santa's knee, and for actually looking like you enjoy it. We have some things under our tree waiting for you. We'll have early presents on Monday morning.
