Before the Big "SURPRISE"!

Mall of America, Minneapolis, Minnesota:
Caitlyn was in Dora heaven!!

Timbavati Wildlife Park @ Storeybook Gardens

Goldielocks and the 3 Bears

Feeding ducks

Amanda was the only one brave enough to feed the giraffe. That tongue was about 18 inches long and very slimy!
Zebras (Caitlyn says 'Weebas!' -so cute!)

Built originally to transport troops during World War II, we went on a DUK ride.

This deer followed Caitlyn around a little too long. Of course that's because Caitlyn had the food!

Hannah didn't like being licked by a deer!

A typical night/morning at a hotel.

Update on the girls

I have to apologize, but I put no thought into this update, therefore the pictures jump around quite a bit!
Not quite crawling yet, more like rolling around. Discovering new things everyday though.
Cousin Sydney helping with lunch time.
Hannah's 1st Easter.

Big girl - BIG smile!

Lots of snow in Ottawa for Easter and c-c-cold!
Suppertime with the cousins.
Should get a sign like this for the front door of our house!
While in Ottawa, we visited the National Museum of Agriculture where we saw lots of cows. MOOOOOOO!

Hannah Update

What are YOU looking at?!?
I knew that I could find you if I moved my head in this unnatural and uncomfortable position.
Hannah's first try at rice cereal - 5 months, 1 week old.
It's a lot easier to carry a baby around with these new environmentally friendly grocery bags!
We thought we'd skip over the rolling-over and crawling stages and go straight to walking.

Big Comfy Couch

MOLLY'S FOOL MOON FESTIVAL
SATURDAY, JANUARY 5, 2008 1 PM
THE LIVING ARTS CENTRE - HAMMERSON HALL
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO

From the program guide: "There is no cozier place than Treehouse TV's Big Comfy Couch. Clown around with Loonette, Molly and other adorable characters on another exciting adventure."

Caitlyn received three tickets to the show from Grandma & Grandpa for Christmas. It took her a long time to decide who she wanted to invite along to the show. She finally decided that her Mom & Dad should go with her since they're both really cool parents, and the fact that we said we'd buy her lunch AND dinner.

We dropped off her baby sister, Hannah at her other Grandparents and off we went on our journey. After less then two hours of driving we arrived at our destination to find that we were too early, so we went to McDonalds for lunch; Caitlyn had the grilled cheese happy meal with apple slices. Mmmm!

After lunch, we went to the show and Caitlyn was all smiles throughout the entire 70 minutes!! She loved it and had a great time. Since there was a railing directly in front of our seats (see video below), Caitlyn was able to stand and walk around a bit without us having to worry too much about where she was going- Great seats Grandma & Grandpa!!!

All the charaters were in the show, Loonette the clown, Molly the doll, Fuzzy & Wuzzy (dust bunnies), Major Bedhead (clown courier) & Granny Garbanzo. There was lots happening onstage and lots of music. Caitlyn was impressed (I think) that her Dad knew the words to almost all of the songs!

Photography wasn't allowed during the show, so this was taken at the very end.

The Living Arts Centre- Mississauga, Ontario

After the show we did some shopping at Ikea, North York where we purchased a new TV entertainment / shelving unit. We had dinner at Boston Pizza in Mississauga.

We arrived to pick up Hannah at around 9:00 pm. The three of us were all exhausted from the show. Mom & Dad spent the next day putting together furniture!
