Pumpkin Picking & Corn Maze

Close to our house is Ferguson's Farm. Every year, in the fall before Hallowe'en they have horse wagon rides, pumpkin picking, scarecrow making and new for this year- a corn maze!
As you can tell by Hannah's bare hands, it was pretty nice out that day.

Caitlyn & Hannah having fun sitting on a bale of hay.

Picking the perfect pumpkin for Hallowe'en.

Hannah trying to find the way out of the corn maze.

Corn makes the world go round!

Caitlyn trying to find her way out of the corn maze!

I'm glad we didn't get stuck at the 'H' in 'FRESH' or the 'L' in 'LOCAL'!! We'd still be trying to get out!

The girls enjoyed the horses.

Caitlyn and her beautiful smile!

Stuffing pants and a shirt to make a scarecrow.

The scarecrow- seems like it worked because we didn't see any crows this year!

Caitlyn and her first 'take home' school project. Its a pinecone dipped in what appeared to be honey. I think that it was either supposed to attract birds or wasps, luckily for us neither showed up and it's now hanging frozen outside.
That's all for this update for now. Sorry that I've either been working overtime during the weekends or not really wanting to go on the computer in the evening after being on a computer all day at work! I should have Hallowe'en 2008 pictures up shortly, so check back soon! Take care!

Love these pictures! It looks as though you were all having so much fun. I, too, am glad you didn't get stuck in the maze. Reminds me of the sort of maze of fences Caitlyn and I explored at Storybook Garden!
See you all in 23 days!!!!
Love G. B.
